ILlustration

I've been fortunate over the years  to illustrate for some amazing filmmakers, authors, publishers, magazine editors and various companies.

Some of my works from the following titles:
• "Hayyim’s Ghost" By Eric Kimmel (Pitspopany Press)
• "The Littlest Tree" By Sylvia Rouss (Pitspopany Press)
• “Izzy Hagbah” By J.J. Gross (Pitspopany Press)

JUST MESSIN' AROUND
Older stuff, personal project stuff...
DOCUMENTARY FILM ILLUSTRATIONS
These illustrations supplement interview footage with emotionally powerful content in a way only drawing and painting can. Together with the films' directors, producers and animators, I interpreted dialogue from the interview footage to create concepts for images, rough drafts, and final artwork based on revision notes.
Some of my works from the film:
"They Played for Their Lives"
Produced and directed by Nurit Jugend
Produced and co-directed by Aaron I. Butler
Illustrations by Ari Binus
Edited by Aaron I. Butler and Andrew Kimery

They Played for Their Lives tells the stories of concentration camp survivors whose lives were both figuratively and literally saved by music during the Holocaust.
Some of my works from the film:
Faithkeepers

Producer/Writer: Paula Kweskin
Research Director/Associate Producer: Zach Sicherman
