I picked a portion of the opening scene from a movie I’ve never heard of, and I tracked my time for for everything: 14 minutes per panel. That includes my very first read-through of the opening scene to the stopping point I determined, scribbling thumbnails to decide camera angles, character poses, and the compositions of objects and environments within the settings, researching my visual reference, and drawing it all out. Hell or High Water screenplay by Taylor Sheridan.
